HOW TO CHOOSE THE PERFECT SHADE OF FOUNDATION?

If you chose shades which might fit your skin complexion, make smudges of them on your face (perfectly on your jaw) one next to another. Now, using day light, look into the mirror and decide which shade is less visible - which one is blending best into your skin color - this one should be your perfect foundation shade!

MORE TIPS:

  1. Shade of the foundation should be based on your natural skin tone. Choosing too dark color of foundation is the most common mistake. Face much darker than the neck does not look good. To add a little color to your appearance better to use blush and bronzer.
  2. People with rosacea are often looking for cool / pinkish shades of foundation because of reddish complexion of the skin tone. Very often the skin of the face has a different shade that the rest of the body. In this case you should match foundation shade to your neck rather than your face. Neutral shades of foundation with a bit of olive tones will perfectly neutralize the rosacea.
  3. People with very fair skin complexion very often choose cool shades of foundation. Unfortunately it is not always the best choice. Combination of fair skin and cool foundation shade might create a 'sick' look. If your skin complexion is fair you should try warm tone of foundation.
